Questions people ask

Is this diagnostic the same length as the NCLEX-RN exam?

No. The real exam is adaptive and runs from 85 to 150 questions in up to 5 hours. This set has 40 questions in 1 hour 20 minutes, which works out to about 2 minutes per question, the pace of a full 150-question sitting.

How are the 40 questions chosen?

They come from the free sample of the PassExams NCLEX-RN bank and follow the NCSBN weights for each client needs category. Areas that carry more questions on the real exam get more questions here.

Does a score here predict whether I will pass?

No single set of 40 questions can. Use it to find the areas that need work, then take it again after a few weeks of practice and compare the two reports.

Do I need an account?

No. Your answers stay in this browser and nothing is uploaded. You can save the report as an image when you finish.
